Product Overview

Critical Safety & Usage Instructions

WARNING: This module produces extremely high voltage. Improper use can result in painful shocks or damage to electronic components.

  1. Strict Operation Time: To avoid burning out the internal transformer, do not operate the module continuously for more than 5–10 seconds. Allow it to cool down between pulses.

  2. Arc Distance Adjustment: Before powering on, ensure the two output wires are placed between 10mm and 20mm apart. If the gap is too large, the energy will have nowhere to go and may puncture the internal insulation, destroying the module.

  3. Power Source: We recommend using a high-drain 3.7V 18650 Li-ion battery for the best performance. Standard AA alkaline batteries may not provide enough current ($A$) to trigger the arc.

  4. Polarity Matters: On the input side, Red is Positive ($+$) and Green/Black is Negative ($-$).
