The IP2312 3A Type-C Fast Charging Module is a high-efficiency, high-current charging solution designed for modern lithium battery applications.
The IP2312 uses a Switching Buck (Step-Down) architecture rather than a linear one.
3A Ultra-Fast Charging: While standard modules take 3–4 hours to charge a large 18650, the IP2312 can potentially finish the job in just 1 hour (depending on the battery rating).
High Efficiency Buck Design: Because it is a switching regulator, it doesn't get as hot as a TP4056 when charging at high currents, making it safer for enclosed DIY projects.
Dual Voltage Support: The board is set to 4.2V by default for standard Li-ion cells, but can be modified to 4.35V for high-voltage lithium cells by changing the onboard solder bridge.
