Product Overview

This Buck Converter is a non-isolated step-down module that uses a fixed 180kHz switching frequency. It is designed to take a higher DC input and "buck" it down to a lower, stable DC output. Setup & Calibration Guide

  1. Wiring: Connect your power source to IN+ and IN-. Connect your device to OUT+ and OUT-.

  2. Calibration: Connect a multimeter to the output terminals. Turn the brass screw on the blue potentiometer:

    • Clockwise: Increases the output voltage.

    • Counter-clockwise: Decreases the output voltage.

  3. Voltage Gap: Remember that the input voltage must be at least 1.5V to 2V higher than your desired output.

  4. Heat Management: If you plan to draw more than 3A or 50W continuously, stick the included aluminum heatsink onto the main XL4015 chip.
