Setting up the Electrapac 1203BK is simple, but correct polarity is essential for safety:
Power Input: Connect your DC power source (6V–28V) to the Power + and Power - terminals. Warning: Reverse polarity on the input side may damage the controller.
Motor Output: Connect your DC motor to the Motor + and Motor - terminals.
Direction Control: If the motor spins in the wrong direction, simply swap the two motor wires.
Adjustment: Turn the knob clockwise to turn the unit "ON" and increase speed. Turn it fully counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn it "OFF."
Pro-Tip: While this controller is rated for 3A, if you are running it at its maximum limit for long periods, ensure the module is placed in a well-ventilated area to dissipate heat from the MOSFET.
