The HW-631 / XY-L30A High-Power Battery Charging Control Module is an intelligent protection switch designed to automate the charging process for various battery types.
This module acts as a smart "gatekeeper" between your power source (charger) and your battery. Unlike simple voltage displays, the HW-631 features a built-in heavy-duty relay that physically disconnects the charger once the battery reaches your pre-set upper voltage limit, and automatically reconnects it when the battery drops to your lower threshold. This ensures your battery stays within its healthy "sweet spot" without manual monitoring.
Universal Voltage Support: Compatible with almost any battery system from 6V up to 60V, including 12V/24V/36V/48V arrays.
30A Industrial Relay: Equipped with a high-current relay capable of handling powerful chargers, making it suitable for larger solar setups and e-bike chargers.
LCD Digital Display: Provides real-time voltage readings and allows for easy menu-based programming of "Start" and "Stop" voltages.
Overcharge Protection: Prevents "gassing" in lead-acid batteries and dangerous thermal runaway in lithium cells by cutting power at the exact peak voltage.
Time-Limited Charging: Features an optional "Charging Time Control" mode to automatically stop charging after a set duration, adding an extra layer of safety.
To set up your module from
Lower Limit (Start): Long press the UP button. The voltage will flash. Adjust to the level where you want the charger to turn on (e.g., 12.0V).
Upper Limit (Stop): Long press the DOWN button. The voltage will flash. Adjust to the level where you want the charger to turn off (e.g., 14.4V for a 12V battery).
Operation: The relay will click shut (LED ON) when the battery is low, and pop open (LED OFF) once the target voltage is hit.
Note: The module is powered by the battery it is monitoring. It requires at least 6V to operate the display and relay.
Solar Energy Systems: Preventing overcharge in 12V/24V/48V off-grid battery banks.
Automotive Maintenance: Automated trickle charging for car or motorcycle batteries.
Lithium Battery Packs: Safe charging for DIY 3S to 14S lithium-ion configurations.
Industrial UPS: Managing standby power systems to ensure batteries are always at optimal charge levels.
We source the HW-631 with genuine 30A relays and high-accuracy voltage sensors to ensure long-term reliability. At
