The 775 DC 12V-24V Oscillating Fan Motor (Long Shaft) is a high-torque powerhouse designed for cooling and heavy-duty DIY projects.
The 775 is a larger, more powerful version of the standard 555 motor. This specific variant features a long shaft, making it ideal for oscillating fans where the blade needs to be positioned further away from the motor body or connected to complex gear mechanisms.
Dual Ball Bearings: Unlike cheaper sleeve-bearing motors, the 775 uses ball bearings at the front to reduce friction, decrease noise, and significantly extend the motor's lifespan.
Long Shaft Versatility: The extended 5mm shaft provides enough surface area to mount large fan blades, pulleys, or threaded couplers securely.
Integrated Cooling Fan: An internal rotor-mounted fan pulls air through the motor housing, keeping it cool even when running at 24V for extended periods.
Wide Voltage Range: Perfectly happy running on a 12V lead-acid battery for solar fans, or a 24V power supply for high-speed industrial DIY tools.
Massive Torque: Strong enough to power large 12-inch or 16-inch fan blades without stalling.
Power Supply: This motor is a "hungry" one. To reach its full potential, use a 12V 10A or 24V 5A power adapter. Using a small 1A or 2A adapter will result in the motor "stuttering" or not starting under load.
Direction Control: Simply swap the (+) and (-) wires on the terminals to change the rotation from clockwise to counter-clockwise.
Speed Control: We highly recommend using a DC PWM Speed Controller (40A rated) from our shop. This allows you to dial down the fan speed for a gentle breeze or crank it up for maximum airflow.
Rechargeable Standing Fans: The standard motor for high-performance 12V DC fans.
Air Coolers: Ideal for driving the blower fan in homemade evaporative coolers.
DIY Power Tools: Frequently used to build mini table saws, drill presses, and belt sanders.
Electric Vehicles: Powerful enough for small kids' ride-on cars or scooter prototypes.
