Empower your IoT projects with the A9G Development Board—a powerful, all-in-one solution for cellular communication and satellite tracking. This versatile module integrates GSM/GPRS for long-range data transmission and voice calls with GPS/BDS (Beidou) for real-time location accuracy. Designed for rapid prototyping, it features a plug-and-play interface compatible with Arduino and other microcontrollers. Read more
The A9G is more than just a GPS module; it’s a complete communication hub.
Plug-and-Play Prototyping: The board includes a Micro-USB interface for 5V power and debugging, making it easy to power from a PC or power bank.
Built-in Battery Management: Features an integrated lithium battery charging circuit, allowing you to build portable, battery-powered trackers easily.
Dual Satellite Accuracy: By using both GPS and BDS, the module offers faster fix times and higher accuracy (approx. < 2.5m) even in urban environments.
Extensive AT Command Support: Controlled via standard GSM07.07 & 07.05 AT commands, making it compatible with Arduino, STM32, ESP32, or even direct PC control.
Audio Support: Integrated support for voice calls with headers for a microphone and speaker, perfect for remote intercom systems.
Vehicle & Asset Tracking: Real-time anti-theft systems with movement alerts via the onboard accelerometer.
IoT Remote Monitoring: Sending sensor data from remote locations where Wi-Fi is unavailable.
Wearable Tech: Creating "Smart Watches" or elderly monitoring devices with SOS calling and location reporting.
Smart Agriculture: Monitoring soil or weather data and transmitting it to a cloud server via GPRS.
Antennas: Ensure both the GSM and GPS antennas are connected before powering on; without them, the module may fail to register on the network or get a satellite fix.
Power Supply: While the board can be powered via USB, the GSM module requires high current spikes (up to 2A). If the board resets during network searching, use a dedicated 3.7V Li-ion battery or a high-current 5V adapter.
Baud Rate: The default communication baud rate is typically 115200 bps.
